A couple weeks ago Rob Romero tosses me this holster and says "check this out." Noveske Shooting Team is marketing this holster specifically for 3 gun. It offers substantial protection of the gun all the way to the rear sight, and is as secure as anything I've ever tried short of a retention holster. The gun audibly "clicks" into position and the only thing that will get it out is a quick tug. I would feel comfortable doing cartwheels with this thing. (I tried videoing it, but kept knocking the camera over.) I expect draw times are a 10th slower than one of the kydex cut deep in the front, but I'll take a little extra protection for an adjustable sight any day.

This model fits both single stack 1911s and my Para. They make seperate models for STI/SV and Glocks.

Don't laugh at the Para, this one actually works.

I might have to build myself one of those.

It starts with your head, then use your hands, if you try it in reverse, you don't even have a chance.

Ozark 3G was the 1st match I've shot using this holster and I have no complaints. I put a piece of sticky-back velcro on inside of the belt loop so that it stays put on my inner belt and it's rock solid. Draws are smooth, the drop and offset makes the frame comfortable to reach, and the pistol is protected. I jumped out of the back of my truck quite a few times wearing it and the gun never moved inside the holster.

Has this gone away? Trying to find something to build around but none of these links take me anywhere.
