A shooter at my local 3 gun had a 12" on his carbine and man was the front end light. I'm looking at the 15in for a rifle length lightening project. Aaron at AP said the 15in. weighs 6oz. including the mount.

Loki Weapon Systems installs them on a lot of their rifles. I have a 17" tube on an 18" barrel Loki and a 16" tube on a 16" practice upper.

There is definitely more flex than an aluminum tube but you would have to get pretty firm with it to cause the tube to hit the gas block while shooting.
