THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT "I just got the word today from Randy Luth, owner of the Del-Tone/Luth Gun Range, that they will be able to host the 2nd annual Tactical Shotgun Championships at their range on the 28th and 29th of July, 2012. Like I said, we just got approval today so the applications and more information will follow as soon as we hammer out the details. Oh, Yeah. The Charcoal stage will be back. Start Practicing! A great shotgun match, ran AHEAD of schedule. So far ahead we shot 7 stages by 3 PM. Went back the second day for one stage, results were posted timely and was able to get on the road several hours earlier than expected. Plus, if you have any shotgun problems, you have the Nordic guys on hand with plenty of remedies. A great match for the money no question about it.

I'll be there, St. Cloud is only about 2 hrs from my place. Actually there are three of us from Morris, MN (small town located 8 miles from nowhere) going.

Not sure what the turnout was last year, but going off the way the local 3-gun matches are booming in MN I would guess it will be much larger (at least as far a local participation goes). The club match last weekend had 73 shooters on a cold and rainy day over a holiday weekend.

I will be there again. I was lucky enough to be on the same squad as Jesse and Jasen last year. Great match went fast. My daughter will be shooting with me this year. it will be her first time back to this range since the last three gun match there

I enjoyed shooting with Jesse again since I had not done since the Pan Am. I talked to Ken at Nordic about this match, sounds like they will have between 8-10 awesome stages again this year and will be featuring the unforgettable charcoal stage. Whats funny is, that is a stage everyone and practice before hand... but I wonder how many people actually will... ;) |

I'm gonna be trying that this year for sure. |

I remember seeing last year's videos for this. It looked like an awesome match. Have fun, can't wait to see the videos.
Maybe somebody will do something like this in the southeast eventually. |

Does anyone know the round count and if there will be stages that require slugs?
