Required to wait a second or two between shots? Did they ever get the proper "license" to allow NFA weapons?

I mostly just creep around on the forums. Don't usually say too much.

Typical QC range rules don't apply to the LE range. I do think they have some misunderstanding about allowing NFA weapons on the range, but I'm not in a position to say one way or the other.

Regardless, the course will be a great one as always and the LE range at Quail Creek is a great facility to host a class.

Funds are hard to come by for classes, but I'm always glad to see quite a few classes offered in Texas.

OK guys, here's my AAR:
This was my first two day class and I'm glad that it was held here in Ft. Worth and the half price discount was the deal maker! Also taking the course along with a buddy will let me get more out of this training again in the future. I took this course to increase my shooting ability and to test my gear. I shot right at 1150 rounds through my Glock 31 using Wolf ammo with a LWD 9mm conv. barrel. Hell I even used kydex gear that I made myself and am very pleased with it.
The class was smaller than I thought it would be, as with the Tue. night classes I've taken, you had to shoot in groups. We only had five shooters, so everybody got to shoot together and there was plenty of time to stop and talk about the coures of fire. Stephen did a great job teaching the course and getting the training points across. The course of fire was setup to make you think as there were certian things you had to do on your own after the "Up" command was given. Everything was well planned out and the skills were built upon each other through the course. The "Shooting In Motion" and the "Figure 8" drills were my favorite but even the "Wind Sprint" drill made you work for it.
I know I still need to work on my bullseye target skills but overall I fell much better at running my gun. You guy's should think about trying it out sometime.

This course is really a good tool for the civilian CHL holder. 90% of your time is on the range. The lecture were enough to convey the theory of the program. The rest of the 2 days was spent practicing it with more and more layers of complexity
