Very fun folks, the boy and I had a great time. I got some good vid of tannerite going off that I'll try to get hosted a little later. I would like to join in a cleaning party up there sometime soon though. Notsohugegator and I will bring garbage bags, rakes and shovels and a can of whoop-ass.

Lot of fun today, thanks everyone. Finally got rid of that case of tannerite laying around the garage . Tried out a new lightweight AR-10 rifle upper and was not disappointed. Sent 280 rds of 7.62 and 480 rds of 5.56 downrange . And to cap it off, there was Danni's purty smile .

+1

And for all you libtards (Without naming any names specific Phil and PCR & gang, etc.) who couldnt make it today, it ended up being 70 degrees with sunshine, and we havd a great shoot indeed.

svtfast counted 36 iirc, and a good time was had by all.

Next time we need to move the bbq grill over int he shade though, nobody needs to sunburn at a shoot.

Get ahold of me regarding your 24" barrel. I may have something you're looking for and am just down the street

I would have liked to stay for Danni's purty ... smile ... but logistics were against us.

There were no unhappy neighbors, only reports of snow sunshine and 70* in the area.

Tumbleweed, thanks for letting me hit a bottle of your "funpowder". I was honestly bouncing a empty pop bottle in the water and hit it thinking it was the bottle

back to the grind....

When mini-pancake arrived, he reported one elderly libtard chick outside standing by the road and our vehicles on the phone. We assumed there was a call made your way.

When we bugged out, the County Mountie was inbound, we kept on cruising.

Only if CavVet decides he doesn't want it as he's got dibs. I want something shorter as I already have the Cetme for a long reach-out-and-whack-someone piece

Gwitness, (in whiny voice) but we're all out of ammo now

Wanted to thank you all for a wonderful time, the wife and I had a great time… I was hoping she would like it as I already had my heart set on buying my first AR-15 for x-mas… heck I might have to buy two of them now, she wants her own!!! lol When its not raining we love to ride our motorcycle, awhile ago we started going to the indoor ranges to shoot our hand guns when our ride days are canceled, I have always wanted to get further into shooting rifles and we both feel fortunate to have met up with you folks, great bunch of people thanks for all the info and the warm welcome, we hope to see ya all soon… now what AR-15 to buy!?!?!

I am real bad with names, but as we were leaving one of ya said you might have a deal for me, the special group buy and you had an extra one I might be able to get, the riffles are not being shipped yet… Please zap me an email with the details, I searched around but can’t find the details about that one, my main email is not working right now so please email to: ramster1usa@yahoo.com

So when’s the next outing?

Tat would be the illustrious Senorita Mini Pancakes, our resident Naval Warfare Frenchman!

Depends on who schedules one next. You are welcome to schedule it, I would advise a multiple choice poll with a few various dates. You can judge by the votes whether it has a snowballs chance in hell or not.

I do know we normally have a New Years day GirlFriend shoot.

We were talking about it after the shoot. Tumbleman is more than welcome to it, I think you may like hwat he has just a little more, and by proximity, you can get it done a lot faster.

BEsides, Tumbleweed and I will just end up trading around for it someday anyway.

Like I need another barrel

Gater, I have two 16" carbine barrels sitting on the shelf and they very likely won't get used by me so you're welcome to swap yours out for one. You can pick between a CMMG MOD4 or an Oly fluted. Both are new. The Oly is not chrome nor does it have a gas block/front sight. Here's what the CMMG looks like, don't have a pic of the Oly:

What would the cops do if they responded, anyway?

"Hello, police? There are 30 cars and trucks parked on the side of the road. I hear constant gunfire and explosions going off. Could you send someone out here to talk to them?"

"Why not?"

WhooHa

What a great time. Tannerite is best when wrapped in pumpkins! I wish we had video of the first few minutes. Cav yelled HOT RANGE, and the pit became a zombie infested war zone. Everyone was emptying mag after mag, the pumpkin guts were flying 100 feet, geysers of muddy water, bump firing, tannerite exploding, it was... (sniff) beautiful man.

I had a permanent grin on my face after firing my new FAL, thanks to all that offered suggestions. Best day shooting in a long time. Thanks to all who attended.

He would not do a darn thing, It is a legal shooting zone, and no crime is in progress. As much as some around here would like you to think...The Sno Co Sheriffs office has better things to do. Like responding to the sound of shots in areas that are No Shooting areas.

Now on the other hand, You guys decide to have a shoot when there is a BATFE taskforce doing a investigation in the Arlington area is priceless.

It is private property...you are guests of the land owners when you shoot there. If the county gets enough complaints...I would imagine they would encourage the landowner to shut the area down so they (the sheriff) doesn't have to take the calls. While you guys can just happily decide to go somewhere else and blow stuff up....I and the rest of the locals who use this pit on a weekly basis will face the greatest loss in the end. I've been shooting at this location now for 13 years and I'd like to keep it that way.

Sorry for the rant...but if your drawing the attention of the local neighboors up there...its not a good thing!

Thanks! I just need to secure myself a nice shinny new AR-15... I found the Bushmaster sale that "Senorita Mini Pancakes" told me about at the water balloon fight, if he or someone else has one on the waiting list, an extra one that is available I sure would love to get it, I know I might have to wait a bit with everyone else for them to ship, but looks like a good riffle for me to start off with. Do you know how I can get ahold of him?

Ya know being new to the WA area I am still try to get used to the new names of the areas around us, ya know, where is south, east, west, Everett, Monroe, Tacoma, MT. Vernon, whatever… now if we were in Cali, I could show ya around and know about every nock and cranny…. Like I said, I listen, ready to learn! So where near Stanwood, is there a location that the group has used/gone to (near us)?
