Update, 3-20-04:

I'm now selling a single point sling, made by CQB Solutions, modified with an HK style snap hook to work with the single point sling loops. Those of you familiar with CQB Solutions will recognize their products as some of the best in their field, and I've been EXTREMELY pleased with their slings since I first started using them, years ago.
This sling is their 1.25" HST Sling with ERB. I have them in stock in both black and green, with the snap hook already installed. I've found this to be comfortable, just soft enough without being too flimsy. The snap hook allows the rifle to be quickly removed from the sling, and the ERB feature allows the sling to be quickly released from the wearer, or the ability to remove and reinstall the sling while other gear is being worn.

The price is $28 plus shipping.

Here's a pic:

I've got three types of single point sling loops for carbines and rifles. From left to right in the next pic:

Left: A1/A2 single point sling loop. Works with fixed buttstocks, including "entry" and other shorty stocks. This adaptor includes a short spacer and a longer stock screw (patented).

$38.50 plus shipping.

Center: Carbine style single point sling loop, puts the loop on the left side of the carbine for right handed shooters. Works with collapsible or fixed collapsible style CAR or M4 buttstocks. This simply replaces the standard lockplate, giving the user a place to latch the snap hook (patented).
$15 plus shipping.

Right: Carbine style single point sling loop, Ambidextrous. This style works with collapsible or fixed collapsible style CAR or M4 buttstocks. This simply replaces the standard lockplate, giving the user a place to latch the snap hook. This one also gives the user the option of using a sling without a snap hook, threading the sling directly through the adaptor (patented).
$15 plus shipping. I bought more of these than necessary, and it turns out I really prefer the style without the slot. These are on sale, and when the 20 I have are gone I will no longer be carrying these.
$11 plus shipping.

I still sell the HK style snap hooks separately for $7.50 each, or 2 for $14, plus shipping. This way you can make your own sling, or upgrade an existing one.

Thank you!
-Cory.

Original ad:

I got these to offer as an upgrade to the standard lock ring on the new Cavalry Arms M4 buttstocks, but I've decided to offer them as a stand-alone item also. They allow the use of a single point sling using an HK style snap hook, or an additional point to mount the rear of a 2 point sling using a snap hook or something similar.
This part is a direct replacement for the regular lockplate, and is one of the few I've found that positions the sling low and out of the way of the charging handle.

I do not sell a sling at this point, I personally use one from Mike at Star Tactical (Me223) and I've had excellent results with it. I imagine this will also allow the use of a ZM Bungee sling, as well as others.

$15.00 plus $3 shipping, unless it's combined with another order in which case I'll get the shipping.
I've got a dozen in stock right now, and I'll order more when I start getting low.

Thank you!
-Cory

[update] I also have the HK Snap Hooks. They're $7.50 each or 2 for $14. Shipping will be $3.00 for 1 to 6 pieces.

Cory, Can that be mounted for left-hand carry? Or is it for right-handers only? Thanks.

This one is strictly for right-handers. I looked into one by another manufacturer that would allow either side carry, but I didn't feel the quality was good enough for me to involve my name with it. I will keep my eyes open for a left version, I'd like to carry one if I can find one of this quality.
I may eventually try to get them made for me if it looks like the demand is there.

I've got about 7 left, and I'll be getting more when these run out. I should also have the HK style snap hooks soon, to be sold separately for people who want to make their own slings.

Still waiting on the HK snap hooks, my original "supplier" claimed to have them in stock but didn't, I ordered them last week from another source and they should be here very soon.

I also have a handful of small spanner wrenches used for the collapsible stock's castle nut. I can provide one with the purchase of a sling loop lockplate for an additional $6 including shipping. They're pretty cheap, but they'll work at least a few times(I've used the same one for about 10 lockring swaps, it's starting to show some wear).

Thanks guys!

Cory, just got my HK snap hooks. Thank you for the timely response, 100% happy, Please note everyone, these are 1", not the AR 1.25", or 1 1/4". This is not a knock of the design, these are nicely finished, and the springs are tight. A small fix gets one back up to 1.25"s if that's what they want. All of my slings are 1.25", so I'll be going that way.
I should have realized, that the HK slings aren't 1.25", that was my own oversight, I just wanted anyone else to realize it. Again, I love mine, and didn't intend a stomp, but I overlooked it so I figured others might have too.

Sulaco2, I'm glad you're happy. You are correct, these are meant for 1" webbing but can be used with 1.25" webbing without too much trouble.

I just got 100+ more in stock today, they're still the same price.

Thanks everyone for your business, I appreciate it!

Just got my sling adaptor, and installed it. Just to make sure, I tried & tried to get it to interfere with the charging handle; couldn't do it. Btw, for anybody using an A1 stock, the screw you already have will work just fine.

Thanks, Cory!

Email sent for info on the receiver end plates.

I like the low mounted sling loop. I currently use a GGG and it gets in the way if the charging handle(and my big fingers!) every now and then.

Thanks.

Cory,
I received the sling loop plate in the mail a few days ago. In finally had time today to install it. I took the GG&G plate off and attempted to install the DPMS plate. Well, it did NOT fit. I compared the stock plate, the GG&G plate, and the DPMS plate. I used a caliper to see why the plate was not fitting.

It turns out the stock plate and the GG&G plate are identical. Both have perfect molds/machining work. The area on this part which is WAY off on the DPMS plate is that little 'offset dent' or knob area on the plate. Basically, I had to take the Dremel out and grind down the sides of this 'offset dent' in order for it to fit completely flush. The dent way extremely too large for the hole it has to fit into.

I really don't care for modifying accessories which should be a 100% bolt on part. Oh well, it fits and works..........just though you should know.

BTW: The rifle it went on is a RRA M4 Tactical Entry LEO AR15.

LPD111-
I've never experienced that problem, I've installed about a dozen of these without any issues at all. It's possible that you received a defective part, and I'd been happy to swap it out for another one.
I'm sorry for the problem, and I appreciate you bringing it to my attention. I'll start looking at these closer before shipping them, I had no idea that some may be built different than others.

Hopefully it'll work well for you as is, let me know if you want a replacement.

On these A2 sling plates(the low one, not GG$rip my fingers)How thick are they? Wanted it to go with an A1 and didn't want the thickness to put me backout to far.

Thanks for the side plate and snap hooks and SOCOM stock. Every thing is great and as advertised. I sent your "WAR FACE" pic to a friend and he likes the sling idea also. I'm going to make a few slings as soon as I can find the webbing.

Thanks again and keep up the good work.

About the above mentioned receiver end plate sling rings being available for the A2 configuration. When installed, what "shape" sling ring is exposed, is it a 1 1/4 slot (like the GG&G #1130), or a loop like in the above pictures? Will this A2 receiver end plate side sling adaptor work with an ACE ARFX stock? Also, does anyone make a 1 1/4 HK snap hook? Thanks

The A2 version has a round loop like the carbine version. It follows the same outline as the rear of the lower receiver as does the front of the ARFX stock, so I can't imagine it not fitting properly. The only thing is this- The A2 sling loop adds about .21" to the length. While there is a spacer included to fill the space in a normal buttstock, the ARFX will have the very rear .21" of the foam possibly unsupported.
It might not be an issue at all, I'm trying to remember how my ARFX stock was and just going from memory. The ARFX stock also already has a mounting point in that same area for a sling loop.

Got my snap hooks and single pt loop sling loop plate. Got them very quickly. Unlike the rusted junk I got from another big name company, these were just fine, finish good, snap action is great. Works well on my ARFX stock! Going to use some to make my own improved Wolf sling. Something that would be great with these hooks is some elastic fabric loop covers to keep these quiet and scratch free. Seen such a thing on a great 3pt sling by Military-Force. Loop plate is first rate.

Thanks Cory, Mikey Happy!

They're the same price as the regular telestock style, $15 plus $3 shipping.

IMHO the single point slings from this guy would be a great addition to your stuff:

He doesn't seem to sell online, so maybe there is a chance for him to reach Ar15.com customers through you?

Most Colts with factory collapsible stocks have the castle nut staked in place. It's not difficult to remove with a little force, and the sling loop lockring should fit great. You can restake the original castle nut to the new lockring, or you can swap the original castle nut for a MIL-Spec replacement- I've got them for $5.

Shoot me an email when you're ready: treetop@adrenalinearms.com. Thanks!

I need that A2 mount!

Another "big name company" sent me an A2 mount for a regular web sling when I specifically said I needed one compatible with HK hooks like on my beloved bungee sling.

Now, do they make these for an 870 police?
