I just picked up a set of nylon brushes with brass hardware for the AR-15 from Midway and I really like it. I'm moving away from metallic brushes with all my guns, and these are top quality. Several of the brushes in the set I already found to have other applications, like the 'Bolt Carrier' brush which is also a great chamber brush for 7.62x39 in addition to being ideal for the over 4" barrel extension brakes on 'AMD-65s'. It includes a bore brush, an upper receiver brush, a bolt carrier brush and a chamber brush.
AR-15 Nylon Brush SetI've been using nylon for awhile. I prefer them over metal ones.
Got that same set, like it so far. Only real concern is life span of the nylon.
Not sure what the life span is for nylon brush. I am still using a nylon brush I "liberated" when I spent time in the army and that was in the early 80's.
