I read where the 400 is commercial tube. I figured it would be mil spec. I'm trying to. Order a stock before it arrives anyone know for sure?

pull the stock off and look. if the back of the tube has a slant to it, it is commercial. if the back of the tube is flat, it is mil-spec

IIRR the only thing not "Mil-spec" on the M-400 is the bolt carrier group, they use a semi-auto one. I was looking at them pre Newtown on a lark so I did some research.

Like all mil-spec rifles it has no buffer tube. It does have a mil-spec lower receiver extension.
